Experience

• 20 years playing trumpet

• 12 years private tutor for trumpet and music theory

• 6 years’ classroom teaching experience; currently Principal Teacher of Music

• Former member of Strathclyde Youth Jazz Orchestra

• Former member of Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra

• Live radio broadcast for BBC Radio

• Appearances at festivals and venues including; Le Mans Jazz Festival, Edinburgh International Jazz Festival, Glasgow International Jazz Festival, SECC, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut

• Session musician for various musical theatre productions including; Les Miserables, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls
